C.V. Collin van der Sluijs, galeriehouder, illustrator, schilder. After graduating as an illustrator in 2004 at the
St.Joost academy in Breda Collin moved to Maastricht with his girlfriend. They started a gallery for contemporary art, Galerie
Groen Licht. This was a good way to combine different disciplines
like painting, organisation and illustrating. In his work, he likes to play with
positive and negative aspects of daily life. Every piece tells a story of the
things he goes through in life. Collin is painting and drawing every day, or is
working on projects and exhibitions beside the gallery. The pieces or mostly made in
mixed-media technique. He uses many different materials, like oils,
acrylics, spraypaint, ink and industrial paints.
