In october, Rutger Termohlen and i will visit Paris again for our third exhibition in the last couple of years, this time for a show we are going to do at Gallery L’Issue
We are doing a lot of work for this one, more info here soon on the details of the show.
It’s nice to visit you again Paris!
Above is a work for the show i finished this week titled ‘‘TRY”, mixed-media on 300 grams paper, framed. 70 × 50 cm. BIG size HERE
When i’m not working on paintings that take ages to finish sometimes, i work on drawings like these that only take a short time, to get out of the system of painting too many detailed things.
Untitled, mixed-media ( oils, acrylics, chinese ink, crayon, oilsticks, watercolors ) on 300 grams paper, 140 × 100 cm.
For those who tried to contact me in the last couple of weeks, i haven’t been reacting that much. I’ll share it with you, my mother passed away on the 5th of august at the the young age of 55, the good ones always leave us young. She supported me since i was a kid, drawing all over the house and outside. It was always good she said and with a smile she looked at me, she loved it that i don’t live the standard ‘‘rules’‘ in life. Rebellious, tender, loving, caring, a fighter for her kids and my dad, that’s my mom.
Thanks for the lessons in life and everything i can think about, LUCTOR ET EMERGO.

Thanks to the ones who were there with us this month and helped us getting through these hard times. You know who you are. Much appreciated.
